Petrol: P Chidambaram can sell 25 rupees cheaper if the government wants

Petrol: P Chidambaram can sell 25 rupees cheaper if the government wants

Today, former Finance Minister P Chidambaram tweeted that the fall in crude oil prices would save 15 liters of liters on petrol to the Central Government.

Govt could sell petrol by 25 rupees cheaper says P Chidambaram
New Delhi: Congress leader P. Chidambaram has said a lot about the prices of petrol and diesel today. He attacked the central government and said that if the government wants to sell petrol 25 rupees cheaper but he is not giving any relief to the general public by not doing so.

Today, former Finance Minister P Chidambaram tweeted that the fall in crude oil prices would save 15 liters of liters on petrol to the Central Government. Apart from this, the central government imposes additional tax of Rs 10 per liter on petrol. In this way, the central government gets a profit of Rs 25 per liter on petrol. This money is directly owned by the common man.

In such a situation, the reduction in petrol prices by 25 rupees per liter is possible. But the government will not do this. He will cut the petrol rates by 1 or 2 rupees and try to dust the public's eyes.

According to the report, 39 rupees 52 paise tax is being levied on petrol.
It is worth mentioning that at this time the price of petrol in the country is 77.17 rupees and the price of diesel is 68.34 rupees, which has reached the highest level so far. Actually the dealer is buying one liter petrol for Rs 37.65. He is charging three rupees 63 paise on this. 19 rupees 48 paise, excise duty is being charged and 16 rupees 41 paise VAT is being charged. In this case, 39 rupees 52 paise tax is being levied on one liter petrol.

Today there was a meeting of the Union Cabinet at Prime Minister Narendra Modi's home in which certain issues were discussed along with economic issues. The disappointing thing is that there was no discussion at the Cabinet meeting at the prices of petrol and diesel. Now, due to this, there is no hope of any reduction in fuel prices at the moment. It was believed that there can be no decision on fuel prices in the Cabinet meeting today.
