Air passengers can get compensation for baggage loss or loss

New Delhi: There is a good news for air travelers because now they can get rid of Baggage related problems soon. The air passenger civic charter has proposed a proposal for the Domestic Sector, under which the airline will have to pay 3000 rupees for loss of luggage and Rs 1000 for damages.
Complaints of losses, theft or damage to the passengers by the air travelers are repeated and the notice is also issued to the respective airline. The charter, introduced tomorrow, has issued domestic air travel ticket if it is canceled within 24 hours of booking, then it has also proposed to not charge any fee. This rule will apply even if booked by the agent or airline portal.
Minister of State for Civil Aviation Jayant Sinha released this charter. The government said that although this charter will apply to all airlines of the Domestic Sector The charter has been made public and consultation process will be open for 30 days. This proposed amendment will be notified within two months after the end of this process.
